Years ago, I worked at the Arizona Court of Appeals so when I came across this article reporting that two Arizona Court of Appeals judges had been named as defendants in separate discrimination lawsuits, I became disheartened. I must say that my experiences at the Arizona Court of Appeals were terrific. I had a chance to meet some extremely bright and intelligent people who brought judicial integrity and professionalism to the bench in Arizona. I know nothing about the allegations set forth in these two separate lawsuits. However, I can only hope that these two separate lawsuits involving two Judges with whom I am familiar resolve quickly without tarnishing the Court's reputation for fairness, competence and intelligence which has long been a cornerstone of our judiciary.
