Have you notice an increase in junk e-mail messages? Do you notice regular messages promising cheap viagra or work-from-home job opportunities which can make you millions? Well unfortunately, brace for more junk messages in the future. According to a research released by an internet security software maker, corporate e-mail directory theft has increased by thirty-percent.

The article I reviewed indicates what happens to the misappropriated data:

E-mail account data acquired in these attacks is typically then used to launch spam or virus attacks aimed at the servers of companies whose information has been stolen.

So if you haven't received enough junk e-mail messages recently, don't worry. You will have plenty of junk to look forward to everytime you open your e-mail message in-box.
